Featured Artist - Fernando Martins

Fernando Martins is a Portuguese painter and sculptor living near Coimbra. His pictorial work features cultural icons and his use of a dark colour palette adds a depth and richness to his work that reflects the work of the artists and musicians he paints. He will be one of the artists exhibiting in Letters from Iberia, May 2011.

Next week celebrated South African artist Jonathan Freemantle unveils his latest exhibition Divina Proportione. Running from the 17th - 23rd of November it is set to a feast for the eyes and we at Framed are delighted to be supplying the wine for the launch.

Noir! 8 - Friday the 5th of November

Our partner organisation Noir! are throwing another feast for the eyes with their collaboration with the African Film Festival.

Noir!'s latest event will focus on all thing African tomorrow with work by the Nigerian designer Nkwo Onwuka, Johari and students from the Edinburgh College of Art. 

We will be going along and so should you if you want to see the best art/film/fashion party in the city!
